Because the skin carries no pigment coating, natural markings and shading show through, so each jacket looks slightly different from the next.

A second-generation, family-owned tannery in the south of France produces this leather. The tannery specializes only in stretch leather, and their process starts by stretching each skin to its limit before bonding it to a cotton-and-lycra backing. When the leather goes through dyeing, heat activates the lycra fibers. These fibers then shrink the backing, and the skin shrinks back to its original size along with it. This is how the leather becomes a stretch fabric.

The rib knit at the bottom blends new wool with nylon and elastane, so the hem holds its shape while still moving with the leather above it. Cupro lines both the body and sleeves.

Because the leather stretches, the jacket holds a skin-tight fit through the body and sleeves without restricting movement. The high neck and asymmetrical zip create an off-center line up the front, while the level shoulder seams keep the top structured despite the tight fit below.
